We're a small, carefully assembled team — each of us drawn to this work for our own reasons, and united by a belief that good therapy changes lives. Here's who we are.
Nikki Law
Psychodynamic Relational Therapist
The bravest thing you can do is ask for help before you reach breaking point.
I don't believe people are broken. Many of the people I work with are surviving in the only ways they know how. The difficulties we experience often develop for a reason, even when those ways of coping are no longer serving us. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand these patterns with compassion and begin creating something different.
I didn't become interested in counselling because life had always been straightforward. Like many people I work with, I've experienced how difficult life can become when we lose ourselves, feel trapped in old patterns or rely on ways of coping that eventually stop working. I've also experienced that change is possible.
Alongside my professional training, I bring many years of experience working within addiction, recovery and criminal justice services, together with lived experience of recovery. Through both personal and professional experience, I have seen how greater self-awareness can create meaningful and lasting change, even when life feels overwhelming or without direction.
What Brings People to Therapy?
Sometimes the ways we cope begin to create more problems than they solve. You may be living with addiction, compulsive behaviours, anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties. Whatever has brought you here, recognising that something needs to change is often the first step.
Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same patterns, feeling disconnected from who you are, or wondering why life feels harder than it should. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes recognising that something needs to change is enough.
How Therapy May Help
Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down and make sense of your experiences. Rather than simply trying to remove symptoms, we explore what they may be communicating. Together we begin to understand not only what you do, but why you do it. As understanding develops, many people find greater confidence, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries and a renewed sense of direction.
Where appropriate, I may also integrate gentle breath awareness and body-based approaches to help strengthen emotional regulation and reconnect with the relationship between mind and body.
My Approach
My approach is psychodynamic and relational, which means I am interested not only in the difficulties you are experiencing today, but also in the experiences and relationships that shaped the way you see yourself and others. Together, we explore patterns that may once have helped you survive but may now be preventing you from living the life you want.
My work is influenced by Jungian psychology and the belief that symptoms often carry meaning rather than simply needing to be removed. Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?" I am often interested in asking, "What has happened to you?" and "What might this be trying to show you?"
Therapy with me is collaborative, honest and compassionate. I won't pretend to have all the answers, but I will offer curiosity, thoughtful challenge where it is helpful and a space where difficult conversations can happen without judgement.
Qualifications and Professional Background
I am a qualified psychodynamic relational counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Alongside private practice, I have worked extensively within addiction, recovery and criminal justice services, supporting people experiencing substance misuse, anxiety, shame, trauma, relationship difficulties and questions around identity and purpose.
Alongside my counselling work, I also facilitate personal development workshops with Change Is Possible (CIP). Working with groups has reinforced my belief that meaningful change often happens when people feel safe enough to explore and supported enough to grow.
I also have additional training in conscious connected breathwork and yoga. Where appropriate, I may integrate gentle breath awareness into therapy to support emotional regulation, grounding and a stronger connection between mind and body. Any integration is always collaborative, clinically appropriate and guided by your individual needs.

Integrative Psychodynamic Counsellor and Relational Therapist
Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It's about reconnecting with yourself.
I'm an integrative psychodynamic counsellor and relational therapist offering face-to-face and online therapy for adults.
One thing I often say to my clients is that while we can't change the past, working through what's happened, understanding it, processing it, and gently untangling its impact, can enable you to move forward and become the strongest, most grounded version of yourself. You don't have to do this alone. Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to begin making sense of what you're going through and to explore what might need to shift so life feels more manageable, connected and hopeful again.
Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck or uncertain about the future. Many of the people I work with are living with the effects of trauma, adverse childhood experiences, difficult relationships or emotional overwhelm. Together, we work towards greater understanding, helping you move forward with increased confidence, resilience and self-awareness.
What Brings People to Therapy
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands. You may be carrying the effects of childhood experiences, struggling with boundaries, or finding yourself repeating patterns that no longer serve you. Sometimes there is a clear reason for seeking therapy; other times there is simply a sense that something isn't quite right. Whatever brings you here, therapy offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and begin understanding yourself more deeply.
What It's Like to Work With Me
People often tell me they feel able to talk openly without fear of judgement. My aim is to create a calm, supportive and compassionate space where you feel safe enough to explore whatever is on your mind. I won't rush you or expect you to have everything figured out. Instead, we work together at a pace that feels right for you, exploring both your present experiences and the past relationships or events that may still be shaping your life today.
Therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to listen carefully, offer gentle challenge when it's helpful, and support you in recognising patterns that can lead to greater understanding, confidence and lasting change.
My Approach
As an integrative psychodynamic and relational therapist, I believe that understanding the connections between our past and present can bring meaningful and lasting change. I work in an inclusive, affirming and non-judgemental way, recognising that every person's experiences are unique. I have a particular interest in helping people understand recurring emotional and relationship patterns, supporting them in developing healthier and more fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and to others.
Qualifications & Professional Background
I am a qualified integrative psychodynamic counsellor and relational therapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Alongside private practice, I work as an Affiliate Psychotherapist with the London Ambulance Service and as an Approved Affiliate Counsellor with Dad's Unlimited, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I also spent 2 years at Sutton Women's Centre working with women who are survivors of domestic abuse, coercive control or stuck in a relationship.
My work is informed by psychodynamic theory, relational practice, attachment theory and trauma-informed approaches. I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Counselling, a Foundation Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling (Distinction), together with additional training in couples counselling, mindfulness and counselling skills.
Qualifications
BA (Hons) Counselling – First Class FdA Foundation Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling (Levels 4–5) – Distinction Diploma in Couples Counselling (CPD – 50+ hours) – The Counselling Academy Mindfulness Life Coaching Accredited Diploma (Level 4) NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills Certificate in Counselling Skills (Level 2) Dad's Unlimited – Approved Affiliate Counsellor Affiliate Psychotherapist – London Ambulance Service Private Practice
Experience
I work in private practice in 3 locations and online and am experienced in helping individuals become the strongest, most grounded version of themselves. Before training as a therapist, I spent many years in a role centred around close, personal connection, holding space for people, listening to their stories, and supporting them through moments of vulnerability. That work shaped my intuitive, relational way of understanding people and taught me how deeply human connection can transform someone's life. I'm attuned to what people need, supporting individuals to make meaningful changes, rebuild confidence, and move forward feeling more empowered and more themselves.

Integrative Psychodynamic Counsellor and Relational Therapist
Every relationship pattern made sense once. Therapy helps us decide if it still does.
Taberna works with adults who are finding things emotionally difficult, whether that shows up as feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that no longer seem to make sense. She welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life, offering a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever has brought you to therapy.
Alongside working with a wide range of clients, Taberna has a particular interest in men's mental health. She recognises that many men can find it difficult to seek support or talk openly about what they're carrying.
Therapy can offer a space free from pressure or expectation, where there is no need to appear strong, have all the answers, or cope alone.
Her approach is thoughtful, grounded and collaborative. Together, therapy offers the opportunity to understand emotional difficulties more deeply, build greater self-awareness and develop a stronger sense of self.
What Brings People to Therapy?
You may have spent years carrying things on your own. Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, low confidence, relationship difficulties or feeling unsure about your direction in life. You don't have to have all the answers before starting therapy.
Perhaps you notice the same patterns repeating in relationships, find yourself feeling emotionally disconnected or are struggling to understand why certain situations affect you so deeply. Whatever brings you to therapy, it offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and begin making sense of your experience.
How Therapy May Help
Therapy offers time and space to understand yourself more deeply. Together, you may begin to explore emotional responses, relationship patterns and ways of coping that have developed over time. This can include looking at how earlier relationships, loss or significant life experiences continue to influence how you think, feel and relate to others today.
The aim isn't to remain focused on the past, but to understand its influence so that greater awareness, new choices and healthier ways of relating can become possible.
My Approach
Taberna works from an integrative psychodynamic and relational perspective, recognising that our past experiences often continue to shape how we experience ourselves, our relationships and the world around us.
She believes the therapeutic relationship provides an important foundation for change, offering a calm, reliable and non-judgemental space where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored safely.
Her approach is particularly suited to people who would like to understand themselves more deeply, recognise recurring patterns and make lasting changes without feeling pressured to have all the answers.

Counsellor & Grief Specialist
Grief is love with nowhere to go. Our work is finding it somewhere to land.
Hello, I'm Alison, a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed by loss, change or experiences that are difficult to make sense of alone. Whether you're living with grief, the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or simply feeling emotionally stuck, therapy offers a safe and compassionate space where you can begin to explore what you're carrying.
I believe that feeling truly heard can be the first step towards healing. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you better understand yourself, your experiences and the changes you would like to make.
What Brings People to Therapy
Loss can change the way we experience ourselves and the world around us. You may be living with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or a sense that life has become overwhelming. Sometimes the reason is clear. At other times, you simply know something doesn't feel right.
I also support people who are neurodivergent or exploring neurodiversity. Many clients come to therapy wanting to understand emotional overwhelm, masking, burnout, identity confusion or long-standing patterns that feel hard to shift. As someone with lived experience of neurodiversity, I understand how these challenges can shape daily life, relationships and self-confidence. Therapy can offer a space where your neurodivergent experience is understood, validated and explored with compassion.
How Therapy May Help
Therapy offers the opportunity to pause, reflect and make sense of your experiences in a safe and confidential environment. Together we can explore how past experiences may continue to influence your emotions, relationships and daily life, while also focusing on the present and helping you move towards the future you want.
For many people, therapy becomes a place to develop greater self-understanding, emotional resilience and renewed hope. This includes working through anxiety, depression, trauma responses, neurodivergent overwhelm and the impact of difficult or confusing life events.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs rather than expecting one way of working to fit everyone. I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and supported.
Together we will explore your experiences with compassion and curiosity, helping you gain insight, process difficult emotions and move towards positive and lasting change. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing grief, bereavement and loss, recognising that every person's experience is unique and there is no right or wrong way to grieve.
I also work relationally with anxiety, depression, trauma and neurodiversity, helping clients understand how their past, their nervous system and their identity shape their present-day experiences. My lived experience of neurodiversity informs my work, allowing me to offer understanding that is both clinical and personal.
Working With Young People
Alongside supporting adults, I also work with children and young people. Many young clients come to therapy with anxiety, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, identity questions or neurodivergent experiences they are trying to understand. I offer a calm, supportive space where they can explore their feelings safely, learn to express themselves and develop healthier ways of coping.
My work with young people is gentle, collaborative and grounded in helping them feel seen, understood and empowered.
Qualifications and Professional Background
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Alongside supporting adults, I also work with children and hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
My experience includes supporting people affected by trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity and complex bereavement.
Sessions and Availability
I offer counselling for adults and children in a safe, welcoming and confidential environment. Sessions are available both face-to-face and online, depending on your needs and preferences.
